Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will flag off Bharatiya Janata Party leader L.K. Advani's anti-corruption ‘rath yatra' at Sitabdiara village in Saran district of Bihar on October 11.
The village is the birth place of veteran socialist leader Jai Prakash Narayan.
At a press conference here, BJP spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said Mr. Kumar agreed to flag off the yatra after party president Nitin Gadkari called him up and made a formal request.
Mr. Prasad said the details of the 35 to 40-day yatra were still being worked out and a statement could be expected from Mr. Gadkari.
