Mufti reviews work at Pahalgam resort

October 03, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 08:20 am IST - Srinagar:

Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed on Friday took a quick round of the famous Pahalgam resort to take a first hand appraisal of works on the ongoing projects related to tourism and other sectors.

The Chief Minister visited the Circular Road, which has recently been macadamised, and various parks maintained and developed by Pahalgam Development Authority (PDA) and the Floriculture, Gardens and Parks Department, an official spokesman said.

He said Mr. Sayeed was accompanied by senior Tourism and district administration officials.

Asking Pahalgam Development Authority (PDA) to prevent littering of the bowl, Mr. Sayeed ordered fencing and landscaping of stretches of green patches on either side of the roads in an aesthetic way to spruce up the resort environs. --PTI
