Meerut Police arrest 6 Dalit men for posting hate messages

The police along with the local Crime Branch arrested six Dalit youths for “spreading hate messages” and “trying to orchestrate caste clashes” in Meerut and other parts of western Uttar Pradesh. “They either made or had access to more than 20 WhatsApp groups in which they were posting offensive messages,” said ADGP Prashant Kumar on Sunday.
