: The Journalists’ Forum Assam (JFA) has expressed “utter dismay over repeated incidents of murder of scribes in the country”.

It urged the media fraternity to be united for the cause of justice to all the slain journalists.

The JFA reaction came in the wake of the news of the setting ablaze of journalist Sandeep Kothari in Madhya Pradesh for doing stories against the manganese mining mafia.

“This is the second incident of murder of a journalist in India this year,” a statement issued by JFA president Rupam Barua and secretary Nava Thakuria on Monday said.
