While announcing sops for Mahadalit community, the Bihar Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi on Saturday emphatically declared that he did not care about media but wished to be in the hearts of his community people. Enthused with the turnout from his community at a function, Mr. Manjhi announced that he would organise a huge Mahadalit rally in Patna in February.

“I do not bother about media but I do wish to be in the hearts of my people present here,” said Mr. Manjhi at a function organised by the party’s Mahadalit cell on the death anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar.

He declared the establishment of a Rs. 200 crore Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Foundation for the welfare and development of the Dalit and Mahadalit people of the State. He further said that free coaching for the Civil Service examinations would be offered to talented students from the Mahadalit community.
