A drunkard father, allegedly involved in sexual exploitation of his own 19-year-old daughter, was arrested from Badachadheiapalli village under the Buguda police station in Ganjam district of Odisha.
According to the police sources, the victim has claimed that she was three months pregnant because of her father. She has further alleged that her father was having ill intentions towards her other sisters also. The victim has two more sisters and two younger brothers. Based on the complaint filed by the girl at Buguda police station, the police have arrested the accused. Both the girl and her father would be sent to MKCG medical college and hospital in Berhampur for medical tests, police officials said.
The victim had got married three years back to a youth of Uttar Pradesh. But for some reason she was living with her paternal family in Ganjam district instead of living with her husband. She has alleged that since past many months, her father in an inebriated state was sexually exploiting her and she had got pregnant.
