Man beaten to death in Bihar

A man was beaten to death by a mob which suspected him to be a thief at Labarpura village in Nawada, Bihar, on Monday night.

The police said the women of the village were engaged in a ceremony when the victim, Rupan Manjhi, reached there. “They raised an alarm and the villagers caught him suspecting him to be a thief. They beat him brutally...he died while undergoing treatment,” said Rajdeo Sao, Hisua police station in -charge.
