Kashmiri quizzed for terror links

A Kashmir resident was on Monday questioned for suspected terror activities after he was caught travelling without ticket on a train in Mathura.

Bilal Ahmed Wani was detained for questioning after he was arrested on Sunday night.

The police said Wani was taken to the police station after which the anti-terror squad was called. “We have not been able to confirm any terror links,” said ATS Inspector-General Aseem Arun. Wani was later sent to Anantnag with his family members.

“We are investigating the issue along with the J&K police,” Mr. Arun said.
