Two militants were killed in an encounter in Anantnag's Bijbehara area.

A police spokesman said Jaish-e-Mohammad's Fayaz Panzoo has been killed along with his associate.

"Panzoo was a top commander and was involved in the attack on CRPF at Anantnag town on June 12, 2019 in which 5 CRPF personnel were killed and SHO Arshad Khan was seriously injured, who also succumbed to injuries," said the police.
