The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) is expanding its study centres to nine countries. The university will open Overseas Study Centres (OSCs) in Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Oman, Mauritius, Nepal, Ethiopia, Kenya and Ivory Coast.
“In October 2015, the Ministry of Human Resources conveyed the approval of the visitor for IGNOU to establish nine OSCs in countries including Sri Lanka, Kuwait, Oman, Mauritius, Nepal, Ethiopia, Kenya and Ivory Coast. Of these nine OSCs, co-ordinators from four OSCs visited the university to attend the MoA signing ceremony on December 4,” an official from IGNOU said.
