Himachal CM’s house burgled

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh’s house Shanti Kunj in his native place at Sarahan in interior Shimla district was burgled. The intruders stole a deity’s statue and around 4 kg of silver jewellery, said the police. A case was registered and the police suspect the hand of a known person or a member of the staff. The housebreakers targeted only the room in which valuables were kept.

Caretaker Prem Dass, who discovered the theft on Sunday morning, immediately alerted the police.
