Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Saturday said general hospitals in the state will be made 300-bedded and then they would be upgraded as Medical Colleges.
He was presiding over a meeting of district officers at Jind, said an official release.
Union Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Birender Singh, MP Ramesh Kaushik, MLAs Premlata and Jasbir Deshwal were present in the meeting.
The Chief Minister reviewed the announcements on development works in the district made by him so far, and directed the officers to execute them on priority.
He asked them to be constantly in touch with the Chief Minister’s office. He also directed them to complete the work of link roads of Haryana State Agricultural Marketing Board as they are necessary for connectivity in rural areas.
Earlier, the Chief Minister launched the website of ancient and historical Jayanti Devi Temple. He said that with the launch of this website, tourism activities would get a boost in the district as historical information along with photographs would be available on this website.
He also launched the system of linking Aadhaar card with land record by linking them of two residents of Jaipur and Bishanpur villages.
He said that with this, Jind has become the first district of the State to have such facility. The Chief Minister held video conferencing at Common Service Centres at Jaipur.
The Chief Minister was apprised that 15 services of Central and state governments were being made available to the people in the district through this Centre, release said. PTI
