Delhi school students injured in accident

Twenty-five persons, including some Delhi school students, were injured on Sunday after two private buses had a head-on collision here, police said.

Drivers of both the buses are also severely injured, they said.

The incident took place when a Volvo bus carrying school students collided head-on with a bus carrying villagers on the Rewari—-arnaul road at Kund Turn, about 22 km from Rewari, they said.

The injured students were rushed to the trauma centre at Rewari where the doctors referred the two seriously injured drivers- Aashish and Sachindra- to the PGIMS, Rohtak.

At the time of the accident, the Volvo bus was carrying the students of a Delhi school located in the Kashmere Gate area on a tour of Rajasthan via Narnaul whereas another bus was carrying passengers of various villages of the Khol area and was on its way from Narnaul to Rewari.-PTI
