: Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Kalraj Mishra on Friday called for revamping village and cottage industries in the North-eastern region.
Speaking at the inaugural session of North Eastern Region of MSME conclave 2015 at Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Mr Mishra laid emphasis on “Make in India” initiative of the Centre and its potential for changing the economic scenario of the region. The Union Minister also inaugurated a Business incubation Centre on Readymade Garment and Handloom at the IIE.
