August 02, 2015 03:03 am | Updated April 01, 2016 02:13 pm IST - PANAJI:

A Special court here on Saturday extended by four more days the police remand of A. M. Wachasundar, Director of JICA (Japan International Co-operation Agency) water project, who was arrested in the Louis Berger–JICA bribery scam. The court adjourned to Tuesday the hearing on his bail application even as Crime Branch filed a supplementary statement which included a statement of yet another former Louis Berger official in India recorded as a witness before JMFC court here.

The Goa government sacked Wachasundar last week after he was quizzed by the Crime Branch at the time of filing of the FIR.
