The BJP on Tuesday announced Chandar Singh Sisodiya as its candidate for the Assembly by-election to the Garoth constituency slated for June 27.

The Garoth by-election have been necessitated following death of BJP MLA Rajesh Yadav.

Mr. Yadav had defeated the Congress candidate Subhash Sojatiya in 2013.

However, the Congress has reposed faith in Sojatiya and re-nominated him to take on the BJP. - PTI
