Kolkata: Local youths are struggling to rescue dead bodies from the smoke choked blocks of AMRI Hospital in Kolkata on Friday. Over 50 patient choke-to-death after a fire broke out in the wee hours of Friday at AMRI Hospital located in Dhakuria, the southern part of Kolkata. The fire broke out at the basement of the new facility of the hospital, which went unnoticed to the security and other staff of the hospital created havoc smoke into the entire building. The local youth living in the adjacent slum swung into action with the fire brigade personnel to rescue the ill-fated patients trapped inside.
