A top LeT militant, active in the area for the last 20 years was arrested on Saturday in Patnazi area of Bonjwa belt, 290 km from Kishtwar, officials said.
Acting on a tip-off, police and security forces arrested Mohd Shafi Pathan, an ‘area commander’ of LeT, they said.
Pathan, from Anantnag district, headed LeT operations in Bonjwa belt, they said, adding he joined militancy in 1990 and was involved in various terror acts.
