Three militants arrested in Manipur

Three persons, including two Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland (Khaplang) insurgents, have been arrested in Manipur.

NSCN(K)’s Khumlo Abi Anal was nabbed by Imphal West district police during a search operation in a super market under on June 11, a press release issued by the Manipur police said.

The police also arrested another NSCN(K) activist Pammei Kakilong of Chingkhulong village of Tamenglong.

In another search operation conducted jointly by Imphal East Police and 40 Assam Rifles at Kiyamgei village in Imphal East district on June 10, an activist of outlawed Kangleipak Communist Party outfit was arrested.
