No participation in political activities for MP govt employees

Madhya Pradesh government today said it has banned participation of government officers and employees from any kind of political activity.

Such participation will be construed as violation of the Madhya Pradesh Civil Services Conduct Rules 1965 and disciplinary action will be taken against the government employee concerned, an official release said here.

Similarly, if government servants acquire membership of students’ organisations and take part in their activities, it will also be construed as violation of the government rules.

Instructions to this effect have been issued by the State government to all the departments, revenue board chairman, divisional commissioners, all the departmental heads, collectors and CEOs, the release added.
