India Post is introducing the Mail Van service to Katra and Mata Vaishno Devi University, linking Jammu, from April 18 in order to speed up postal services in the State, Chief Postmaster-General John Samuel said on Friday.
Katra is the base camp of the cave shrine of Vaishnodevi in Reasi district
Under the Next Day Parcel Service, to be introduced on April 18 at Katra, parcels to Delhi and Punjab would be delivered the next day.
