The Haryana Government has made an offer to the ace Badminton player Saina Nehwal to join the State services as Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda made this offer in a letter to Ms. Nehwal. He said the State Government had been rewarding outstanding sports persons who had made a mark at the national and international level and had appointed them directly as DSP.

He congratulated her for her exceptional and outstanding success in international badminton and said it was indeed a marvellous feat to win the third Super Series title in a row and become the first-ever Indian to do so.
