The former Goa Tourism Minister and Nationalist Congress Party's controversial legislator, Mickky Pacheco, was chargesheeted by the Crime Branch of the Goa police on Monday in the south Goa Casino assault case.
Reacting to police action, Mr. Pacheco on Monday said that he was not worried, adding that he had full faith in judiciary.
The case pertains to a complaint of assault by an employee of a casino in a south Goa five-star hotel against Mr. Pacheco when he was the Tourism Minister.
Mr. Pacheco, who has some criminal cases against him, is trying to get his Ministerial berth back in the Digambar Kamat Cabinet, which he left following a police probe into his alleged involvement in the death of his girl friend.
