Arunachal Pradesh sends Maggi noodles for analysis

Food Safety Officers (FSO) in Arunachal Pradesh lifted random samples of Maggi noodles from various places of the state and dispatched them to a laboratory in Guwahati for analysis.

“Samples have been lifted on May 21 and 22 last under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 as well as survey samples and the report of the food analyst is awaited,” Health and Family Welfare secretary Indira Mallo said in a statement on Thursday.

The FSOs have been directed to lift more samples of various noodles brand for routine check of quality standards, she added.
