Arms cache recovered from militant hideout in Kishtwar in J&K

Security forces have busted a militant hideout and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition from there in a forest area of Kishtwar district, police officials said here on Monday.

On a tip off, a joint column of Rashtriya Rifles troops and police busted the hideout of Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit in Lidrari-Pyas forest area, about 260 kms from Jammu, in Kishtwar district on Sunday evening, they said.

The recoveries from the hideout included 843 LMG rounds, 111 AK rounds, two AK magazines, 13 grenades among other things.
