41 RAS officers promoted to IAS

The long-pending issue of promotions of Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS) officers was resolved on Friday with the promotion of 41 RAS officers to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS).

The decision was taken during by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) at a meeting held in New Delhi recently

Navneet Kumar, general secretary of RAS association, said: “Most of these promotions were pending since 2010 and court cases were going on for these promotions. After the promotion of 41 RAS officers, many of these cases have been resolved.”
