Four staff members of Fabindia store in Goa, who were arrested in a hidden camera case were on Saturday, granted bail by local court.

Four employees — Karim Lakhani, Prashant Naik, Raju Panche and Paresh Bhagat — of the fashion boutique chain’s outlet were arrested for allegedly setting up a CCTV camera, which overlooked the store’s changing room where Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani was trying out clothes on Friday.

The store manager and other staffers moved Goa court for anticipatory bail on Saturday.

Meanwhile, FabIndia, in a clarification posted on its Facebook page, said it was “deeply concerned and shocked at this allegation.” The outlet was in the “process of investigating this internally and will be cooperating fully with the police. Senior officials of the company are on their way to Goa and will be present during the investigation,” it said.
