July 23, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 07:47 am IST - CUTTACK:

Three fugitive servitors of Shree Jagannath Temple, who are wanted by the Puri police for their alleged involvement in disrupting the Lords’ rituals, attacking the media men and threatening the district magistrate, have approached the Orissa High on Friday seeking anticipatory bails.

The servitors—Damodar Mahasuhar, Jaykrushna Mahasuhar and Jaynarayan Khuntia, have separately moved the HC for the advance bail to avoid their imminent arrests. They have sought the HC protection on the concluding day of the deadline given to them by the police to surrender.

Reports reaching here said that the Puri police, who have already arrested at least eight servitors in these cases, are also looking for 13 other errant servitors identified for their involvements in these cases from CCTV footages and the FIR filed by the DM.
