Actor Amitabh Bachchan, who faces an FIR for endorsing Maggi noodles, said he would cooperate with the law.

Mr. Bachchan, along with fellow actors Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta, is in the dock for endorsing the product, clarified that he was no longer associated with the brand as its ambassador.

“I have not received any notice. As soon as I get it, I will put it up to my lawyers and we will fully cooperate with what the law says,” Mr. Bachchan told reporters on the sidelines of an event.

Ms. Zinta sounded astonished over the prospective action.

“Reading the news about me being sued for doing the Maggi commercial over 12 years ago? 12 years ago? How does that happen?” she tweeted.
