February 04, 2016 01:17 am | Updated 01:18 am IST - NEW DELHI:

In what is being seen as an attempt to forge a larger alliance in Uttar Pradesh that goes to polls next year, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) chief Ajit Singh and his son Jayant Choudhary over lunch here on Wednesday.

JD(U) leaders Sharad Yadav and KC Tyagi were also present at the meeting, which, sources say, was aimed at setting the ball rolling for seat-sharing in the State.
