NIA may question three IM suspects

January 10, 2015 02:07 am | Updated 02:07 am IST - NEW DELHI:

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) may soon question the three Indian Mujahideen suspects arrested by the Bengaluru Police allegedly with components for making bombs and explosives.

The three were identified as Abdus Subur, Saddam Hussein and Syed Ismail Afaq. “The NIA has already registered a case,” a senior official said.

“Preliminary investigations have suggested that the three are not linked to the recent Bengaluru blast. However, they were instrumental in the storage and supply of explosives for use by the outfit’s modules in terror activities,” he said.
