No more distant venues for NEET, assures Javadekar

In response to a query by AIADMK member Vijila Sathyananth, the HRD Minister said facilities would be made to ensure that they take the exams at their respective places.

Human Resource Development Minister Prakash Javadekar on Thursday said students would not have to travel distant places to take NEET examinations from next year. In response to a query by Vijila Sathyananth (AIADMK), Mr. Javadekar said facilities would be made to ensure that they take the exams at their respective places.

As regards inaccuracies in the NEET question papers, the Minister said the Centre would be taking affidavits from States on the accuracy of translated question papers from next year.
