After the All India Muslim Personal Law Board decided to file a review petition against the Ayodhya verdict, seven Muslim litigants have announced their support for the AIMPLB.

After the meeting of the AIMPLB held in Lucknow on Sunday, the Jamiat Ulema Hind had announced its decision to file a review petition.

The first three Muslim litigants who supported the move were Mohammad Umar and Misbahuddin, residents of Ayodhya and Faizabad, respectively, and Maulana Mahfuz Ur Rahman of Ambedkar Nagar.

On Monday, four more litigants — Haji Mahboob, Haji Asad, Hafiz Rizwan and Maulana Hizbullah — said they would back the AIMPLB and the Jamiat.
