Even as the Bharatiya Janata Party prepares to make a rally by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, scheduled to be held during the weekend, a success, its Delhi unit flagged off ‘Modi video raths’ that will apprise the residents about the policies and achievement of the Central government.
“Multi-utility vehicles”While 14 campaign vehicles were rolled out on Saturday, the party aims to double these in order to touch base with voters in all the 70 Assembly constituencies here.
“These are multi-utility vehicles that can be used for nukkad sabhas, besides running video and audio campaigns. Besides having an LCD screen, these vehicles are equipped with electronic gadgets like laptops and microphone sets that can be used to conduct nukkad sabhas,” said Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay.
Besides the Modi video raths, the BJP leaders also inducted some auto-drivers into the party fold, claiming these drivers were earlier with the Aam Aadmi Party.
In order to prove their point, these drivers turned up at the Delhi BJP office on Saturday with AAP posters.
The Delhi unit leaders also flagged off these auto-rickshaws after pasting campaign posters of the party.
