Eight civilians injured in Pulwama grenade attack

Suspected militants hurled a grenade towards a police station in Pulwama injuring many civilians, preliminary reports suggest

Several civilians were injured in a grenade blast in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on June 18 afternoon.

Initial reports suggest that suspected militants hurled a grenade towards a police station in Pulwama. “It exploded on the roadside,” said a police official.

Preliminary reports suggest eight civilians were injured in the attack. Two severely wounded were referred to a Srinagar hospital, an official said.
