In a gory incident that shocked people of Katraj, near Pune, a 60-year-old man was seen walking around the streets with a woman’s severed head on Friday afternoon.

According to the police, Ramchandra Chavan, who works as a watchman, allegedly murdered his wife Sonabai (55) suspecting her fidelity and then walked around with the decapitated head and a pickaxe, believed to be the murder weapon.

Police took him into custody and quickly covered the severed head with a cloth, but not before some onlookers captured the grisly scene on their mobile cameras.
