This Parliament's monsoon session (July-August 2018) Lok Sabha Question Hour was one of the of the most productive spells, functioning for 84% of the scheduled time. Here, we have mined and analysed data from about 5,000 questions on the Lok Sabha website. Here's a breakdown of the questions, involvement of Members of Parliament (MPs), and more.

What did MPs speak about?

Members of Parliament addressed a wide range of issues, from cleaning the Ganga river to skill development and railway projects. Analysis of data shows that the term 'development' appeared about 150 times in question titles from July 18 to August 10. However, the term was used in various contexts: for instance, 'skill development' appeared in the questions 22 times, while 'rural development' appeared 11 times.

The following word cloud depicts the general topics on which questions were asked. Bigger the size of the word, higher its frequency in the question titles.
