Bureaucratic reshuffle; 2 Collectors shifted

Balamurali to be Palakkad Collector

The government on Wednesday effected a bureaucratic shuffle.

Pathanamthitta Collector D. Balamurali has been shifted to Palakkad and Social Justice Director P.B. Noohin posted in his place. The current Palakkad Collector P. Suresh Babu has been posted Director, Higher Secondary Education. He replaces P.K. Sudheer Babu, who will take over as Commissioner, Entrance Examinations.

The Cabinet meeting decided to post Director, Collegiate Education, M.S. Jaya, as Chairperson and MD, Supplyco. Haritha V. Kumar, CEO, Additional Skills Acquisition Programme, has been given the additional charge of Director, Collegiate Education. Veena N. Madhavan has been posted Director, Social Justice. She will have additional charge as MD, Kerala Medical Service Corporation.

B. Ashok, Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs, has been give additional charge of Sports and Youth Affairs. Special Secretary, Administrative Reforms, and K. Gopalakrishna Bhat will hold additional charge of Special Secretary, Local Self-Government.

Punith Kumar, Additional Resident Commissioner, Kerala House, New Delhi, will be the Resident Commissioner. The Cabinet decided to shift Project Director, Amrut Mission, P.S. Mohammed Sagir, to the post of Joint Secretary, Administrative Reforms (Official Language). Additional Secretary, Local Self Government (Urban), Girija, has been given additional charge of Project Director, Amrut Mission.

S. Harikishore, Executive Director, Kudumbasree, has been given additional charge of CEO, Life Mission. He replaces Adeela Abdulla, who has been posted Regional Director, IMG.

Housing Commissioner B. Abdul Naser has been given additional charge of Director, Nirmithi Kendra, and State Director, National Cyclone Risk Mitigation Project.
