Two choke to death

Two persons choked to death when they tried to clean a well at Thiruvillwamala on Saturday. Two others, who tried to help them, have been admitted to hospital. The deceased were Manikandan, 38, of Thiruvillwamala and his brother Sreenivasan, 33. Manikandan went inside the well first. He felt suffocated. Sreenivasan, who tried to rescue his brother, also got trapped. Both of them fell unconscious. The fire and rescue force from Alathoor took them out from the well. Though they were rushed to the hospital, their lives could not be saved. Two local people and fire and rescue personnel, who felt suffocation, were admitted to a hospital.
