Train services rescheduled for three days

To take up doubling of tracks between Kuruppantar and Ettumanur

Railways have rescheduled train services on October 24, 25 and 27 as part of doubling of tracks between Kuruppantar and Ettumanur.

66300/66301 Kollam – Ernakulam – Kollam MEMU Passenger trains, 56381/ 56382 Ernakulam – Kayamkulam – Ernakulam Passenger trains and 56387/56388 Ernakulam – Kayamkulam – Ernakulam Passenger trains of October 24 have been cancelled on October 24.

17229 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Hyderabad Sabari Express, 22654 Hazrat Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Central Express, 22660 Dehradun – Kochuveli Express and 12626 New Delhi – Thiruvananthapuram Central Kerala Express will run via Alappuzha. 16382 Kanniyakumari – Mumbai Jayanthi Janata Express will be regulated for 1 hour and 20 minutes at Kottayam.

On October 25, Trains 56387/56388, Trains 66300/66301, Trains 66307/66308 have been cancelled. 17230 Hyderabad – Thiruvananthapuram Central Sabari Express will be regulated for 50 minutes and 16649 Mangalore – Thiruvananthapuram Central Parasuram Express for 45 minutes at Kuruppantara. 16318 Shrimata Vaishno Devi Katra – Kanniyakumari Himsagar Express will be regulated for 30 minutes at Vaikom Road and 12625 Thiruvananthapuram Central – New Delhi Kerala Express for 50 minutes at Kottayam.

On October 27, Trains 56381/56382, Trains 66307/66308, 56377 Alappuzha– Kayamkulam Passenger, Trains 66301/ 66302, Trains 56387/56388 have been cancelled. Train 56365/56366 Guruvayur – Punalur – Guruvayur Passenger trains will be partially cancelled between Ernakulam – Punalur.

16650 Nagercoil – Mangalore Parasuram Express, 17229 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Hyderabad Sabari Express, 16382 Kanniyakumari – Mumbai CSMT Jayanthi Janata Express, 12081 Kannur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Jan Shatabdi Express, 12626 New Delhi – Thiruvananthapuram Central Kerala Express will run via Alappuzha.

On October 27, 17230 Hyderabad – Thiruvananthapuram Central Sabari express will be regulated for 1 hour and 16649 Mangalore – Nagercoil Parasuram Express for 35 minutes at Kuruppantara. 12625 Thiruvananthapuram Central – New Delhi Kerala express will be regulated for 1 hour at Kottayam, a railway release said.

Withdrawn

Meanwhile, changes in pattern of train services to facilitate deep screening (maintenance) of track in Kayankulam – Sasthankotta section has been withdrawn due to rains.
