HC to hear plea against compensation for 8-year-old girl

The Kerala High Court will hear the government's appeal against a single bench order awarding compensation of ₹1.5 lakhs to an eight-year-old Dalit girl who was falsely accused of stealing a mobile phone by a Pink Policewoman constable. The case had caused some public outrage in the State.
