Thrissur girl makes State proud

C. Devika, student of Kulapathy Munshi Bhavan’s Vidhya Mandir, Pottor, has won fourth rank at all-India level in the CBSE Plus Two examinations.

Devika, who scored 495 marks out of 500, is the State topper. She is second in science group at all-India level.

Devika is the daughter of Veterinary University Assistant Registrar C. Manikuttan and Public Works Department Assistant Engineer K. Smitha.

Devika, who aspires to be a military doctor, is a fan of former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. She wants to join the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.

Two other students from Thrissur schools, Akash Haridas of Paramekkavu Vidhya Mandir and Francis J. Vellara of Devamatha CMI public school, also did the State proud by scoring 494 marks.
