Three youngsters for Russia show


WorldSkills International Competition

Three young talents from the State figure among the 48 selected to represent the country at the WorldSkills International Competition 2019 to be held in Kazan, Russia, from August 22 to 27.

They are Nidhin Prem, 22 of Kochi, Jibin Williams, 21, of Alappuzha, and Mohammed Rabith K., 22, of Malappuram.

More than 1,500 competitors from 60 countries will compete in 55 skill competitions at this mega event. India will participate in 44 skills, including mobile robotics, prototype modelling, hairdressing, baking, confectionery & patisserie, welding, brick laying, car painting, and floristry, among others.

Nidhin Prem will test his passion for 3D Game Art at the competition. Nidhin had won gold medals at ‘IndiaSkills’ national and silver medals at ‘Global Skills’, Australia.

Jibin Williams will be participating in the floristry section.

Mohammed Rabith will display his talent in wall and floor tiling at the event.

Son of a headload worker, he had undergone skill training in tiling.
