Third alliance will decide who should rule: Thushar

October 21, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 06:05 am IST - KOTTAYAM:

Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam vice president Thushar Vellappally has expressed confidence that the third alliance being forged under the leadership of the Yogam will decide as to who should rule the State.

Speaking at a meeting called for the reception committee for the Samathwa Munnetta Yatra, the road show being taken up by Yogam president Vellappally Natesan, here on Tuesday, Mr. Thushar said that whoever joined the third alliance or sought its support would come to power in the State.

This local bodies’ election had seen unprecedented numbers of Yogam activists getting seats from all the fronts, he said. The CPI(M) had been particularly liberal in giving seats to SNDP activists this time, he said.

According to him, the Yogam activists were doing extra business even when they were engaged in Yogam activities.

‘‘However, those who have sought inquiry into the finances of the Yogam should come out in the open as to how their wealth increased so much during the past many decades,’’ he said.

T.V. Babu, general secretary, KPMS, presided.
