The Kerala High Court on Wednesday directed the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) to file a report detailing the material evidence available to prove the charge against former Finance Minister K.M. Mani in the bar bribery case.
The court, expressing its displeasure over a statement filed by the VACB in the case, observed that definite questions regarding the materials to prove the offence against Mr.Mani were not seen answered properly and clearly by the Vigilance.
The court directed the VACB to file the report within three weeks. The directive was issued on a petition filed by Mr. Mani against a Thiruvananthapuram Vigilance court order for further probe in the case.
