SNDP will form largest political party: Thushar

October 11, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:49 am IST - KALPETTA:

Thushar Vellappally, vice-president of the Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam, has said that his organisation will constitute the largest political party in the State.

Speaking to media persons at Sulthan Bathery after attending a leadership meet of the organisation on Saturday, Mr. Thushar said both the United Democratic Front (UDF) and the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the State had been exploiting the Ezhava Community for the past many decades.

The leaders of the fronts were trying to foil SNDP’s attempts to form a political party by making baseless allegations against the organisation and its leaders, he said.

‘Fabricated allegations’

Answering a question on the recent allegation of Biju Ramesh, working president, Bar Owners Association, against Yogam leader Vellappally Natesan in connection with the death of Swami Saswatheekananda of Sivagiri Madhom, Mr. Thushar said the allegation was a highly fabricated one.

“We welcome the investigation of any government agency in this regard,” he said.

There were no irregularities in the microfinance ventures run by Mr. Natesan, as transparency was ensured in all the business transactions of the scheme, he said.

LDF and UDF exploiting Ezhava Community, says Thushar Vellappally.
