Remove stones

I would like to draw the attention of the authorities concerned to heaps of granite stones left outside the northern wall of Tali temple, after its renovation. Dumped haphazardly, the stones prevent smooth flow of traffic and also pose risk to pedestrians.

Good work

There are many residents’ associations in the city, but only a few deserve appreciation and live up to the tasks before them. One such association is the Choyunni Master Road Residents’ Association that took up the cleaning of Vellayil railway station when many others were on a holiday on the day of a nation-wide strike last month.

Power bills

It is noted that many houses, and even their gates, are locked when the staff of the Kerala State Electricity Board come for recording the reading and calculating the power consumption charges. To overcome this, house owners could pay an advance amount with the electricity board if they were stationed out of town and therefore had to keep their houses locked for weeks or months.
