Rail services to be regulated from Sept 2

Railways have announced regulations in services to take up Complete Track Renewal works using Track Renewal Train machines in the Ernakulam-Edappally section for three nights a week from September 2 to October 6. The changes will be implemented by the railways on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays during the period.

Train 16305 Ernakulam-Kannur Intercity Express, Train 16306 Kannur-Ernakulam Intercity Express, Train 56362 Kottayam-Nilambur Passenger, Train 56363 Nilambur-Kottayam Passenger, Train 56370 Ernakulam-Guruvayur Passenger, Train 56373 Guruvayur-Thrissur Passenger, Train 56374 Thrissur-Guruvayur Passenger, Train 56375 Guruvayur-Ernakulam Passenger will not run on September 2, 4, 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30 and October 2 and 6, according to Railways.

Train 16127 Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express will leave Ernakulam Junction at 7 a.m and stop at all stations between Ernakulam and Guruvayur on September 2, 4 and 8. Train 16127 Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express will leave Ernakulam Junction at 6.35 a.m. and stop at all stations between Ernakulam and Guruvayur on September 9, 11, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30 and October 2 and 6.

Train 16606 Nagercoil-Mangalore Ernad Express will have two minutes additional stoppage at Angamali for Kaladi and Irinjalakkuda stations owing to cancellation of Train 16305 Ernakulam-Kannur Intercity Express on September 2, 4, 8, 9, 11, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30, October 2 and 6.

Rescheduled

Train 16343 Thiruvananthapuram-Madurai Amrita/Rajyarani Express scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram Central at 10 p.m. will be rescheduled to leave at 11 p.m. on Saturdays, Mondays and Fridays, The train will be further regulated for 2 hours 50 minutes in the Kottayam-Thrissur section.

Train 16127 Chennai Egmore-Guruvayur Express leaving Thiruvananthapuram Central on Fridays, Saturdays and Mondays will have a late start of 30 minutes from Thiruvananthapuram. The train will be further regulated for 2 hours and 30 minutes at Ernakulam.

Train 22149 Ernakulam-Pune Superfast Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam Junction at 5.15 a.m. will be rescheduled to start at 6.15 a.m on Tuesdays and further regulated for 30-45 minutes in the Ernakulam North-Irinjalakkuda section.

Train 22653 Thiruvananthapuram Central-Hazrat Nizamuddin Superfast Express scheduled to depart from Thiruvananthapuram at 00:30 will be rescheduled to start at 1.30 a.m on Saturdays and regulated for 30-45 minutes between Ernakulam North and Irinjalakkuda.

Train 13352 Alappuzha-Dhanbad Express on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays will be regulated between Alappuzha and Angamali for 40 minutes. Train 16606 Nagercoil-Mangalore Ernad Express on Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays will be regulated between Alappuzha and Ernakulam for 30 minutes. Train 16332 Thiruvananthapuram-Mumbai CSMT Weekly Express on Saturdays will be regulated between Alappuzha and Angamali for 15 minutes.

Train 22620 Tirunelveli-Bilaspur Weekly Express on Sundays will be regulated between Alappuzha and Angamali for 45 minutes. Train 12678 Ernakulam-KSR Bengaluru Intercity Express and 12076 Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Janshatabdi Express will be regulated for 15 minutes in the Ernakulam-Shoranur section.
