PuKaSa to protest against Chandy

As part of the protest series organised by the Purogamana Kala Sahithya Sangham (PuKaSa) activists against the failure of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to take a look at the Aksharashilpam sculpture of Kanayi Kunhiraman when it was formally inaugurated by Mr. Chandy in Kottayam two weeks ago, the Kollam unit of the sangham is organising a protest gathering at the Public Library Hall here in the evening on June 23. Sangham district president D. Suresh Kumar said that by failing to take a look at the work, the Chief Minister had insulted the aartist. The sangham will organise a photo exhibition of the Aksharashilpam at the protest venue. The programme will be inaugurated by K.N. Balagopal, MP.
