President Ram Nath Kovind will arrive in the State on Friday for a two-day visit.
After arriving in the State capital by a special aircraft at 2.50 p.m., the President will lay the foundation stone for the first government building in the prestigious Technocity at Pallipuram.
He will be given a formal reception by Governor P. Sathasivam, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran, among others.
The President will pay floral tributes at the Ayyankali statue situated at Vellayambalam at 5.30 p.m.
The Thiruvananthapuram city Corporation will host a public reception for the President at Tagore Theatre on behalf of the State government at 6 p.m.
The president will stay at Raj Bhavan for the night after attending a dinner hosted by the Governor in his honour.
He will leave for Kochi on Saturday at 9.45 a.m.
Mr. Kovind will inaugurate the valedictory function of the diamond jubilee celebrations of the High Court of Kerala at 11 a.m.
He will leave for Delhi at 12.30 p.m., according to an official statement here on Wednesday.
